Gavin from Bannockburn Maintenance & Engineering asked us if we could assist him in creating a timber / steel combination staircase for his client. We discussed the specifications with him and built the timber treads and braces to suit the requirements. Then went to site with him and completed the works by installing the staircase on site with Bannockburn Maintenance & Engineering.  Although their was a large amount of steel work in the staircase we still had a large involvement in regards to the final layout of stairs and all aspects of the building codes and requirements.
